In a time where society is "busier than ever," we continue to creatively utilize our members' donation of time, regardless the amount, to meet the needs of our community.

Everyone's contribution is appreciated and acknowledged. New members are warmly welcomed through our Mentor Program and given the necessary training to become valuable team members.

Each member brings to the department his/her own interests and skills. Many of us participate in providing both fire and medical assistance, while some prefer one area over the other.

We have members that do not participate directly emergencies, but contribute using their organizational, clerical, or fund raising skills.

We also have a Junior Program which is offered to young adults between the ages of 16 and 18.

A testimony to our positive environment, where a sense of team is encouraged, is that many of our family members ultimately join. It is not unusual to see couples, with their children respond together to calls. As a department, we sponsor many family centered social events to celebrate our friendships and hard work.
