Delivery of the new E 40-10 - 6/21/09

Modena took delivery of a new pumper built by KME. The new E 40-10 sports a plethora of devices designed to make our operation run more efficiently and quickly. The truck features a 1000 gallon booster tank and a 1250gpm Hale pump. The cab seats a total of 8 firefighters, allowing them to don turnout gear and SCBAs on the way to a call. A preconnected bumper suction allows the truck to rapidly deploy in a tanker shuttle operation. A 15Kw generator powers lights on all sides of the truck, lighting up any night time operation. All ladders are stowed neatly inside the body and the hosebed carries a variety of hose sizes. This new apparatus is has been designed to operate well into the future and meet any coming needs.
