Residents of the Modena Fire District elect 5 commissioners to 5 year terms as well as elect a treasurer and secretary. The Board of Commissioners
is responsible for establishing an annual budget, insuring fiscal solvency, as well as ensuring that current and future needs of the Modena Fire District are
being met. The Board works closely with the Chief and line officers to ensure that equipment is properly maintained, that all members meet training
requirements and that the Organization continues to raise our operating standards beyond the already high standard that has been established.
The Board of Commissioners holds a meeting (open to the public) the second monday of every month at the Modena firehouse. For directions to the firehouse, just
